Joshua Dionisio and Barbie Forteza on Valentines Day

AS EXPECTED, Joshua Dionisio denied that his camp requested that Kristoffer Martin be eliminated from the cast of his new show, “Nita Negrita”, that starts airing this afternoon. He says his dad doesn’t meddle in his career and he considers Kristoffer a friend since they both started in ABS. His partner, Barbie Forteza adds that all of them “Tween Hearts” stars get along fine. So what will they do today, Valentine’s Day? “Wala po, working day,” says Joshua. “Halos araw-araw ang taping namin. Hindi naman kami puede mag-date kasi mga bata pa kami.” Will he give her a Valentine gift? “Valentine card po to show I value our friendship,” he beams. Barbie says she’s also giving him a Valentine card. “Di naman kailangan ng expensive gift kasi di naman kami on,” she adds. “Okay na yung card.”

As Nita Negrita, Barbie’s mom is Lotlot de Leon and her dad is a black American. Lotlot thought she died but, in truth, she’s raised in an orphanage by Nova Villa as Nana Ima. Another orphan, Lexi Fernandez, is envious of her as she’s good in gymnastics. Lotlot visits the orphanage one day, now rich and married to Zoren Legaspi. They can’t have kids so they adopt one and Zoren chooses Lexi even if Lotlot feels for Barbie. Will Lotlot ever realize that Barbie is her real child? Find out in “Nita Negrita”, weekdays after “Alakdana”.
