John Estrada starts his new noontime show in a wrong foot

TV5 FOLKS said they feel bad that John Estrada suddenly decided to leave them to do a new noontime show with Randy Santiago, Mariel Rodriguez and Toni Gonzaga on ABS-CBN. “We were surprised kasi we treated him well with shows like ‘Happy Together’ and ‘P05’, tapos ni wala siyang sinasabi, bigla na lang nagpaalam on the air while hosting P05,” someone from TV5 says. “Nabigla kami kasi we’re even cooking up a new show for him, pero bigla pala niyang kaming lalayasan without properly informing us. Sana, nagsabi man lang siya ng maayos kasi maayos naman ang naging pakikitungo naming sa kanya.”

John’s own girlfriend, Priscilla Meirelles, was interviewed in “Paparazzi” and she said that she herself was taken by surprise as John also didn’t inform her about his decision to move back to ABS. As Willie Revillame said about John and Randy’s new show: “Hindi magre-rate yan.” Which could be true as it started negatively on the wrong foot. John should have been more careful and didn’t burn his bridges. If and when his show with ABS fails, we doubt if TV5 would still take him back.
