EULA VALDEZ was absent at the thanksgiving presscon of “Koreana” and the press surmised that she purposely didn’t attend it to avoid being grilled about her current tiff with Director Wenn Deramas. After being with GMA now for sometime, Eula is due to move to ABS to play a vital role in the remake of “Mula sa Puso” that Wenn directs. When she found out that she’d be playing the role of the wife of Deejay Durano, an actor closely identified with Wenn, Eula’s manager, Ricky Gallardo, allegedly talked to ABS exec Lauren Dyogi asking that Deejay be replaced by another actor. Because of this, Wenn texted Ricky: “Wala kang karapatang magpatanggal ng artista sa programa ko. Lalo’t wala kang nai-contribute na tama sa industriya. Wala kang karapatan! Alikabok ka lang!”
Wenn was present at the presscon of Anne Curtis and Luis Manzano’s “Who’s That Girl”, which he’s directing, but he says he was told by Lauren Dyogi to stop talking “kasi masyadong matabil daw ako.”
