Carla Abellana on Ex-BF JC Intal

CARLA ABELLANA says she was surprised when she learned she was nominated as best actress in the last Metro filmfest for the “Funeraria” episode of “Shake, Rattle & Roll 12”. “I wasn’t expecting it. I didn’t even think I’m good enough to get a nomination,” she says. We tell her she’s really good as the teacher who doesn’t have an inkling she’s dealing with a family of aswangs and later fights for her life. “I guess I should thank our director, Jerrold Tarog, as I just followed all his instructions. I wish we could work together again.”

So how is she and BF Geoff Eigenmann? “We’re okay. Mas mature and stable ang relationship namin ngayon and we’re glad to be reunited in the telefantasya “Magic Palayok”. The last time we were together was in ‘Basahang Ginto’, that rated so well in the afternoon, kaya siguro pinagsama kami uli and this time, sa primetime na at 6 PM. We’re replacing ‘Bantatay’, a toprater, kaya sana ma-sustain namin ang high ratings nila. We’re glad we’re supported by first rate stars here, led by Geoff’s aunt, Ms. Cherie Gil, and also Mikee Cojuangco who plays the mom of child star Angelie Sanoy, the owner of the Magic Palayok in the show.”

What can she say about her former BF, cager JC Intal, now reported to be playing beautiful music with Bianca Gonzales? “I’m happy for him as he deserves to be in love with someone else again. May communication kami sa FB and I told him masaya ko for him at sana nga, magtagal sila.”
