Alex Gonzaga no boyfriend since birth at 23

IT’S NOT SURPRISING for Alex Gonzaga to feel tense as her launching show, “Babaeng Hampaslupa”, will premiere after “Willing-Willie” on TV5. “When I was first told I’d do it, I felt reluctant as it’s heavy drama, baka hindi ko kaya,” she says. “But I’d like to thank TV5 as they really supported me. Binigyan ako ng acting workshop kay Direk Gina Alajar, tapos they got good directors Eric Quizon and Joyce Bernal for the show, and surrounded me with seasoned stars like Susan Roces and Alice Dixson na talagang very helpful for me to do my role well. In one scene, babatuhin ko ng putik si Ms. Alice, hindi ko magawa, but she’s even the one who assured me I should do it convincingly. Kaya confident akong magugustuhan ng viewers ang show, lalo na nga’t ipalalabas ito like a movie na dire-diretso at walang commercials.”

Her Ate Toni had her first BF at 23. She herself is now 23, but still NBSB (no boyfriend since birth). “Hindi kasi ako ligawin. Pero dapat nga makahanap na ko. Dapat kamukha ng BF ng sister ko (Director Paul Soriano),” she laughs.
