JOJI ALONSO, producer of the award-winning “Kubrador”, is now also into concerts with the special post-Valentine show of the Rainmakers and Voizboys, “VOIZes in the RAIN”, on February 18, Friday, 8 PM at the Music Museum. Special guests are Janet Basco, Tuesday Vargas and Cong. Lani Mercado. The members of VOIZboys are talents of ABS-CBN Star Magic who perform regularly in “ASAP.” Nico Antonio is a law student who has appeared in “Kubrador” and “
Here Comes the Bride”. He recorded the theme song “Kahit Isang Saglit” in the movie “Biyaheng Lupa”. Interestingly, The Rainmakers’ Mon Villanueva is Nico’s uncle. Guji Lorenzana is a DJ-actor. He starred in plays like “West Side Story” and “Legally Blonde”. He also did “Precious Hearts Romances Presents Bud Brothers” for ABS. He was nominated in the 2008 “Awit Awards” as Best Male Performer. Jay-R Siaboc is a “Pinoy Dream Academy” Season 1’s first runner-up. He has acted in ABS shows like “Pangarap na Bituin”, “Palos”, “Kapitan Boom” and “Kambal sa Uma”.
Tom Rodriguez, "Pinoy Big Brother: Double Up" housemate acted in “Precious Hearts Romances: My Cheating Heart”, “Love Me Again” and “Here Comes the Bride”. As singers, Nico does ballads; Guji and Jay-R, rock; and Tom, pop. Their debut album, “Fusion”, is now available in record bars. More about the Rainmakers later.
