Mother Lily optimistic that 'My Valentine Girls' will be a blockbuster

MOTHER LILY MONTEVERDE is co-producing “My Valentine Girls” with GMA Films and she’s optimistic it will be a blockbuster. “Kasi ang ganda ng feedback from the public,” she says. “People find the teasers and the full trailer so funny. Maganda naman talaga ang movie kaya nakakatuwang i-promote.”

She approved the film’s budget even if it’s a bit expensive since there are three different stories with various locations. “It’s no longer a joke to produce a movie these days kasi bawat location, ang daming binabayaran. You don’t only have to get permit from the city but also from the barangay and from the neighbourhood associations. Itong ‘Valentine Girls’, mahal ang locations and we spent so much also for the production design, especially of the ‘Gunaw’ episode with Eugene Domingo kasi end of the world at sila lang ni Richard ang tao sa mundo, kaya magastos talaga.”

This Sunday, Richard will have a special birthday celebration and promo for “My Valentine Girls” on GMA-7’s “Party Pilipinas” and “Showbiz Central”. The whole cast will be joining him to celebrate.
