Arci Munoz on her birthday

ARCI MUNOZ has no regrets about moving from GMA-7 to TV5 under the management of Annabelle Rama. After “My Driver Sweet Lover”, she’s now also in the cast of the new soap, “Ang Utol Kong Hoodlum” with JC De Vera. She celebrated her birthday recently on the set of the new show and she got the shock of her life when their director, Topel Lee, suddenly shouted Cut while she’s acting on cam and reprimanded her for her lousy performance. “Not just because it’s your birthday, you can give me that kind of acting,” he shouted at her.

Arci was about to cry out of embarrassment when everyone on the set started singing the birthday song for her and a cake with a lighted candle came up. “Natuloy ang iyak but not because I’m sad but so happy and touched for their gesture,” she says. “Ginud time lang pala nila ako as it’s my birthday.”

Arci is also busy rehearsing these days for her first live show with the I Candy in “I Valentine U”, the concert of Ogie Alcasid and Pops Fernandez at Crowne Plaza on February 12. She’s part of I Candy along with Bubbles Paraiso, Carla Humphries, Ehra and Michelle Madrigal.
