Pilipinas Win na Win sure to be axed soon

‘PILIPINAS WIN NA WIN’ is sure to be axed and will have its last telecast on December 31. The two lady hosts who were originally with “Wowowee”, Pokwang and Valerie Concepcion, are said to be still in denial and say they’ll only believe it when management officially informs them about it. Surely, they’ll lose a big chunk of their income from having a daily TV show. But we’re not surprised that it’s being terminated since it really won’t rate at all when it’s giving away millions of pesos. In contrast, its rival, “Yaman ni Lola”, is rating higher when it’s prize for the whole week amounts to only P100,000 to P200,000.

Well, PWNW was good while it lasted for Rico Puno and his other singer-co-hosts in the show. We heard “It’s Showtime” hosted by Vhong Navarro and Anne Curtis will have a revamp and be shown in tandem with Kris Aquino’s new game show. Let’s see if this move will make it more competitive with “Eat Bulaga” that rated higher than ever after “Wowowee” bowed out.
