What are their roles? “I play Jason, a teenager in Engkantasia na idol si Bossing Vic. I want to be his sidekick so sumama ako sa kanya sa real world. Doon ko nakilala si Barbie, who plays Bratty, niece ni Bossing Vic who’s a spoiled brat, at nagkagusto ako sa kanya. Since I come from the fairy world, I have special powers and I try to impress her with some magic tricks. First movie namin ito together and we're thrilled to ride the movie's float sa filmfest Parade of Stars.”
Barbie used to live with her grandma in Binan, Laguna, but she was able to buy her own condo unit in Quezon City this year with her parents. “Lagi kasi kong nale-late sa tapings ko in Manila so we got our own place here. But on Christmas Day, we’re all going home to Binan for our family reunion.”
What is her Christmas gift for Joshua? “I’m buying him a bike, which is what he wants. Combined birthday gift na yun kasi he’s turning 16 on December 14. Isang regalo na lang para tipid.”What about Joshua’s gift to Barbie? “Secret muna. Para may surprise, basta I’m sure she’ll like it.”
