He already won a new car in the show and he’ll give it to his dad. “I don’t know if I’d be the Ultimate Survivor kasi marami ngang galit sa’min ni Aubrey, but I’m hoping for the best.”
He’ll continue with his showbiz career if there’d be offers. Right after “Survivor”, he’d be part of the new show replacing it, “Puso ng Pasko”. How about acting? “I already took an acting workshop sa UP then to help me as a commercial model. So if there’s a good offer, why not?”
What if he’d be assigned in a show with ex-GF Marian Rivera? “Fine with me but I don’t know with her. We just met at the lobby of GMA recently. Nagkasalubong kami sa elevator. Nagkahiyaan. It was her manager, Popoy Caritativo, who told me, ‘O, Ervic, matutulala ka na lang ba diyan? Mag-hi ka naman.’ Siempre, natigilan ako kasi first time in two years after we broke up na nagkita kami. But I said hi at yun, okay na.”
How long were they on? “Bale six years. I was only 15 then and she’s 17. We broke up nang mag-artista siya but we reconciled when she was doing her second afternoon soap with TAPE. Tumagal uli ng two years until she was launched in ‘Marimar’. She was already doing ‘Dyesebel’ when we split again at naging sila na ni Dingdong (Dantes).”
Is he mad at Dingdong? “Dati, but now, no more. I wish them the best.”
