Boots Anson Roa produces documentary on St. Pio

BOOTS ANSON ROA commemorated the 3rd death anniversary of late hubby Pete Roa with the launch of “Into the Light”, a 50-minute docu on St. Pio of Pietrelcina that is a personal journey of faight, healing and answered prayers with the revered saint of modern times. Filmed in San Giovanni Rotondo, Italy, this is inspired by the late Pete’s devotion to the beloved stigmatist St. Pio. Its invitationl premiere was held at Silver City, Frontera Verde Pasig, attended by Ricky Davao (who played St. Pio in the stage play “St. Pio of Pietrelcina”), Gloria Romero, Delia Razon, Gloria Sevilla, Luz Baldez, Tintin Bersola Babao whose baby son is a St. Pio miracle baby, Lollie Mara, Atty. Dong Puno and wife Cristy, and many more. Also present were the children of Boots and Pete, Joey, Chiqui Roa-Puno with husband Cong. Robbie Puno. “Into the Light” was written and directed by critic Nestor Torre, videography by Rica Arevalo, and hosted by Boots herself for PRIME (Pete Roa Integrated Media Endeavors) and the Philippine Center for St. Pio.
