Vilma Santos will sponsor Nora's plane fare and lodging

THERE WERE earlier speculations that Nora Aunor is coming home this month after six years in the U.S. But November is almost ending and still no news about her arriving soon. “Showbiz Central” interviewed her daughter Matet de Leon and she said she heard about her mom’s homecoming only on TV but there’s nothing definite about it.

Is it true Nora now works as a caregiver in the U.S.? “Noon pa yang ganyang mga balita, nagtitinda pa raw siya ng kubyertos. O, e ano naman ngayon?” Nora’s ex-co host in “Superstar”, Kuya Germs, said it could be someone saw her taking care of her good friend, Sajid Khan, who’s now sick, and quickly concluded she’s a caregiver. About Nora’s returning home, this is what Kuya Germs said: “Sabi niya, sosorpresahin niya tayo. Pero mas madadali kung may magi-sponsor ng kanyang plane ticket at ng board and lodging niya rito.”

We now have a suggestion to Gov. Vilma Santos who earlier said she’s eager to see her “kumare”. Now that she’s a multi-millionaire, why not shoulder the plane fare of Nora and offer her to stay for free in one of her houses? Wouldn’t that be the kindest gesture anyone can do for a former rival?
