MARVIN AGUSTIN is proud and excited to be a juror in the ongoing Brussels International Filmfest. He has worked with the country’s best directors like Marilou Abaya in “Noon at Ngayon”, Laurice Guillen in “Tanging Yaman” and Joel Lamangan in “Sigwa”. He won the Metro filmfest 2005 best actor award as the psychotic killer in Joey Reyes’ “Kutob”. His experiences in more than a decade of being actor on films and TV certainly equip him to be a judge in a prestigious festival.

Before he left, he taped his episodes for “Beauty Queen”, where he plays a rich businessman and man of intense passion named Donald Cervantes, who gets obsessed with a beauty queen, Iza Calzado. His role is patterned after famous beauty connoisseur Donald Trump. “It’s something I’ve never played before so I love the role,” he says. “I have many rivals over Iza, including TJ Trinidad and Luis Alandy, kaya mahigpit ang laban talaga kasi TJ helps make Iza the Palengke Queen and when her mom is jailed, Iza is forced to join a Bikini Open contest to help free her where a judge is her friend Maggie Wilson, na karibal naman niya over TJ, making the story more complicated.”
