Manny Pacquiao's mom makes a scene during his Texas fight hoping to revive her showbiz career

AS EXPECTED, the Pacquiao-Margarito fight once again ruled the ratings last Sunday. Right after it was shown on GMA-7, “Showbiz Central” got to interview Manny live by phone and host Pia Guanio asked him what can he say about Margarito. “Matibay siya, malakas na boksingero. Bilib ako.” Is it true this will be his last fight? “Hindi naman, puede pa tayo lumaban. Pero pahinga muna ako ng ilang buwan. Babalik muna ko sa congress. Magpapatayo pa ko ng ospital sa lugar namin. Salamat sa lahat ng nagdasal, tayo ang pinakaunang nagkaroon ng boxer with 8 titles.” Is it true his Mommy Dionisia fainted during the fight? “Oo, first time niya manood ng laban. Pero okay na siya ngayon.” Later on, Mommy Dionisia herself was interviewed on the phone. “Nahilo ako nang makita ko ang anak kong tinamaan,” she said. “Nakaluhod ako doon sa loob ng stadium at sabi nila, wag akong lumuhod, maraming tao. Sabi ko, wala akong pakialam. Tapos, nahimatay ako.” After her film with Ai Ai de las Alas and Erap Estrada didn’t do so well at the tills, she quickly faded back into the woodwork. We hope her cheap tricks now will help revive her short-lived bout with fame.
