Kyla and Rich Alvarez maintain a pure relationship

GAUDENCIO AND Melanie are soulmates, so the title of their concert tonight at Music Museum is “Soulmates”. You know them better as Jay-R and Kyla in “Party Pilipinas” where they make beautiful music together. But off cam, Jay-R is on with Krista Kleiner while Kyla has been on with cage Rich Alvarez for five years now. Are they facing the altar soon? “No,” says Kyla. “He hasn’t even proposed. If ever, we both want it to be a church wedding.”

She says they’ve never been tempted to consummate their relationship. “We both come from very conservative families so wholesome kami, hanggang hugs lang. Everything happens after the wedding.”

Both their loved ones will watch Jay-R and Kyla at “Soulmates” tonight where they’ll sing R&B, soul and jazz numbers. Presented by Kaspersky Lab, Get your tickets at Music Museum or Ticketworld at 891-9999.
