KRISTA KLEINER represented our country at the Miss International pageant in China. Is she sad that she didn’t bag the title? “No, because I gained so many good experiences in being given the chance to acknowledge my Filipino roots at ipagmalaki ang Pilipinas sa buong mundo,” she says. “I made a lot of friends and it’s really unforgettable, including the parades I joined and the visits to various historical and cultural sites in China.”
She was in the top 15 finalists and won two special awards: Miss Talent and Miss Expressive. The crowd really applauded her musical performance. She sang ‘Beauty Queen’, a song composed by her
BF Jay-R who went there to give her personal moral support. Then she did some martial arts moves with a chako that made the audience roar with approval. Now that the pageant is over, she’s ready to resume her acting career with GMA-7.
