JACKIE RICE TRIES TO SNATCH ALJUR ABRENICA AWAY FROM RHIAN RAMOS

JACKIE RICE is thankful to GMA-7 for giving her a second chance after she became a “pasaway” when she won in Starstruck 3. “I’d like to think nakabawi na ako talaga kasi I have a daily primetime soap, ‘Ilumina’, tapos they also included me now as a mainstay in ‘Bubble Gang’,” she says. “I think nakita naman nilang nagbago na talaga ako at hindi na ako problema sa set.”

How is it to be one of the Bubblets along with Gwen Zamora, (Gwen is the rumored flame of Vic Sotto), Sam Pinto and Ellen Adarna in “Bubble Gang”? “Sobrang saya ko na makasama sila at mapabilang sa ‘Bubble Gang’ kasi sobrang bad girl ako as contravida to Rhian Ramos in ‘Ilumina’. At least ditto, lumalabas naman ang comic side at pagiging kikay ko. Masaya kami lagi sa taping. Parang naglalaro lang kami with sina Kuya Ogie Alcasid and Michael V, tapos may suweldo ka pa, e nag-enjoy ka na nga sa mga katrabaho mo. I’m learning a lot from them, just like with our co-stars in ‘Ilumina’ na sina Christopher de Leon at Cesar Montano. Nakaka-inspire silang katrabaho.”

How come there’s a story she and Rhian are really fighting over Aljur Abrenica in “Ilumina”? “Ay, hindi totoo yan. Nagulat nga akong may tsismis na inaagaw ko raw si Aljur. Paano ko gagawin yun, e may non-showbiz BF ako na ang bait-bait sa akin. Kung totong sina Rhian at Aljur na nga, I’ll be happy for them.”
