IS IAN BATHERSON bothered by persistent stories questioning his gender? Ian was linked to Ahron Villena while they were doing “Survivor Philippines Celebrity Edition” in Thailand. He’s then linked to Mico Aytona after Mico was also eliminated like him and he visited Mico in “Walang Tulugan” where Mico is one of Kuya Germs’ co-host. “I went to ‘Walang Tulugan’ as I was a guest in the show,” he says. “We became friends while doing ‘Survivor’, is there anything wrong with that? Just because you have friends with the same sex doesn’t automatically mean you’re gay. I’ve learned to ignore these intrigues as I know myself. I like girls. I’m sure if they’d see me visiting girls, they’ll report naman that I’m a womanizer, babaero. Those who keep on saying I’m gay are wishful thinkers hoping papatol ako sa kanila. I’m sorry to disappoint them.”

Ian is now seen in “Party Pilipinas”. He’s hoping he’d be given an acting job in a soap someday, but he knows he has first to learn how to speak Tagalog more fluently. “I’m working on that now,” he adds.
