LOVI POE IN CONFLICT WITH OWN HALF-BROTHER RONIAN POE OVER RONALD SINGSON

LOVI POE is elated that her fiery portrayal of the young Beth Oropesa in “Beauty Queen” elicited positive reviews and that her new film, “White House”, is doing well at the tills, raking it last weekend. Now, she’s also in the new afternoon soap, “Little Star”, that starts airing today. “I play another demanding role as a popular singer who gets pregnant and has to hide her baby na napunta kay Jennylyn Mercado at pinalaki niya,” she says. “My role is quite mean but it’s explained naman she’s like that because of her very pushy stage mom, Shamaine Centenera.”
Will she visit rumored BF Ronald Singson again? “No time, my sked is so hectic. But he’s okay there naman and hopefully, maayos na lahat sa next hearing nila.”

What can she say about Ronald’s interview in “Showbiz Central” that he can’t forget her care and concern for him, intimating that he’ll marry her and he’ll do everything to make her happy? “Thanks, but he’s not obligated. About getting married, I’m so young. I’m not ready. I have lots of dreams to fulfill yet.”

Her half brother, Ronian (son of Anna Marin), said if their dad FPJ were alive, she won’t be allowed to visit Ronald in Hongkong. “If I have something to say to my brother, I won’t say it to the press or on TV. I also hope if he has something to tell me, sabihin na lang niya sa’kin directly para hindi kami pagpiyestahan. We didn’t grow up together, so hindi kami parehas ng thinking.”

What about Grace Poe, who grew up with FPJ’s wife, Susan Roces? “I met her only once. Di kami nagkakausap, but I’m so happy with her appointment sa MTRCB. May kanya-kanya naman kaming buhay. I know my boundaries and I have nothing but respect for them. I wish them all the best.”
