WHEN LAST interviewed on TV, Kris Aquino said James is demanding one half of their conjugal property because she had no pre-nuptial agreement with him and that James doesn’t give any support to their son Bimby. In an interview with Showbiz Central, James’ lawyer, Atty. Lorna Kapunan, denied this. “It’s sad dahil walang basehan ang sinabi niya as James never demanded anything from her,” she says. “About Baby James, what happened is that everytime he’d pay any bill, Kris would say wag na, ako na lang. So he opened a bank account in the name of their son, a trust fund, matagal na, so to say that he refuses to support their son, I think it’s a lie. Kris maybe the best in her field but James was Most Valuable Player twice so in basketball, we can say he’s the highest paid at lahat yan, inilalaan niya kay Baby James.”
She said James is wondering why Kris is suddenly attacking him again when he thought all the while that they are now civil and in better terms with each other. Because of Kris’ latest declarations, she plans to request a gag order about the case between her and James so she’d stop talking about it. “It’s really sad that her whole life has become a drama. Sa korte na lang ito dapat pinag-uusapan dahil hindi naman ito palabas sa sine.” As for Kris, she revealed in Showbiz Central that the new reason for their annulment case is “mutual psychological incapacity”. This means both of them are at fault. She says this will take ten months to one year before it’s approved.
