FOR THE FIRST time, Sen. Bong Revilla signed an exclusive contract with GMA-7. “15 years na ako doing shows with GMA like ‘Hokus Pokus’ and ‘Idol Ko si Kap’, but it’s only now that I signed a formal contract with them,” he says. “Actually, kahit walang contract, okay lang, loyal naman ako as Kapuso kahit may mga naglabasang balitang lilipat ako. Ito ngang ‘Kap’s Amazing Stories’ ko, bale three years na rin on the air.”

“It’s better to be sure,” says GMA Pres. Felipe Gozon. “Bong is one talent na di namin puede pakawalan kasi consistent top-rater ang shows niya.”

Bong is also in the GMA Films-Imus Productions-MZet entry to the Metro filmfest, “Si Agimat sa Mundo ni Enteng Kabisote”. Is it true the film nearly got shelved as he and co-star Vic Sotto had personal problems on the set? “That’s not at all true. Very smooth nga ang shooting. I’m really happy I was given this chance to work with him. He might be doing comedy but he’s really very serious with his craft. Masaya siyang katrabaho. Pareho kaming baguhan ang kapareha dito, siya si Gwen Zamora at ako, si Sam Pinto. Ginastusan ang movie and this is the action-comedy to look forward to in the filmfest.”
