THE INTERNET is abuzz with insinuations that two hunky castaways are having an affair: Ahron Villena and Ian Batherson. Some fan pages were even put up for their alleged “love team”, called Ronian or Ahrian. This is because they’re often seen being chummy with each other in “Survivor Philippines Celebrity Edition.” “Ian and I belong to the same tribe, Nagar, at may shot daw kasing magka-akbay kami and they concluded agad na kami na,” Ahron laugs. “E, ganyan lang naman talaga sa showbiz. Kundi kay gay, sasabihin may gay benefactor ka. What’s important is that Ian and I know who we really are and we have no problems with our masculinity.”

Ian himself just laughs this off. “It started when we won in a challenge and we were all happy in our tribe, eating and drinking wine. Ahron and I were seen so happy together and they misinterpreted it. So tinawanan na lang namin. We’re secure about who we are, so okay lang, we’re not affected. Si Pretty Trizsa kasi ang nagsimulang mang-intriga sa amin. Nainggit yata kasi close kami, siya hindi.”

“I was telling Ian, gusto mo sakyan natin, paglaruan natin,” says Ahron. “Kasi kung seseryosohin mo yung ganyang gay issue, lalaki lang. So pagtawanan na lang natin. Kilala ko si Ian, sobrang mahilig siya sa chicks.”
