Daniel Matsunaga falls for Heart Evangelista

DANIEL MATSUNAGA guested in “Showbiz Central” and admitted he loves Heart Evangelista but he’ll get her response only when she comes home from her vacation in Las Vegas. There’s a phone patch interview with Heart and she said she’s very happy with Daniel as she can see he’s a good man. But she’ll only say what’s the real score between them upon her return. Now that “Langit sa Piling Mo” is about to end, Daniel says he feels envious of Mark Herras who gets to wed Heart in the soap’s final scene. “In the story, I play Mark’s best friend,” he says. “And I should be glad that he’s marrying a special girl, but I felt sad as I felt I should have been the one to marry Heart.”  See, Heart Evangelista Falls In Love With Daniel Matsunaga.

Does he miss her? “Yes, very much. I can’t wait to see her again. I know we’ll be seeing each other again when she comes back. For a while, I was thinking of following her there but I have other schedules to attend to here and people will be mad at me if I’d do that. Anyway, when she comes home, I’ll sing to her the Tagalog theme song of “Langit sa Piling Mo’ that I’ve already memorized. Heart knows that I’m very serious in trying to learn how to talk fluently in Tagalog. She’s very helpful in teaching me and she makes fun of me when I mispronounce some words that’s why I have very fond memories of her.”

Has he met her parents? “Yes, they’re very nice, very accommodating.”

WE’RE PUZZLED with Gerald Anderson’s statements about him and Kim Chiu: “We had a special relationship. We cared for each other. We were there for each other, but we have no commitment, hindi po kami boyfriend-girlfriend, just a special relationship. We realized we’re both young. I’m 21, she’s 20, but some people, tingin sa amin, para kaming mag-asawa na. So we said, Sandali lang, sandal lang. We still have a lot to explore, discover and experience in life for us to grow.”

So it’s not true Kim tried suicide after their breakup? “You know Kim, masayahin siyang tao, a bubbly person, so hindi magagawa ni Kim yun. Maraming nagmamahal sa kanya. Mahal niya ang career at family niya.”

Does he still love Kim? “I will always care for her. Someone that special, fragile, sweet, ang sarap alagaan. My Chinese angel. She’ll always be a part of my life.”

So it’s now apparent their special relationship is just an MU. Meaning, malabong usapan or magulong usapan.

MANNY PACQUIAO returned from the U.S. and was asked about Floyd Mayweather’s racial slur calling him a yellow chump, midget and a pooch. “Ang ganyang mga tao, di na dapat pinapatulan dahil wala lang magawa sa buhay. Hayaan na lang natin siya, saying ang oras natin diyan. Hindi na rin ako magko-comment kasi napaka-uneducated pa kung papatulan siya. Magtatrabaho na lang ako sa kongreso para sa ikabubuti ng constituents ko,” he declares and we salute him for not stooping to Mayweather’s level.

THERE’S A NEW Twitter sensation: twitter.com/annabellerama. At first, some people thought it’s fake and someone is just impersonating Annabelle but no less than her daughter Ruffa (iloveruffag) and son Raymond (mondgutierrez) confirmed that it’s really their mom who’s tweeting. When Annabelle started, she quickly gained 2,000 followers as of last Sunday. But by now, she already has more than 15,000 followers. She was touched by the very positive messages left for her by her fans, praising her for being a feisty, caring and protective mom to her entire family. Ruffa asked her if she’s just instructing someone to do the tweeting for her and she tweeted: “Day, ako mismo ang nagtu-tweet. Huwag ka ng makialam.”

WE WERE in the same flight to Cebu last weekend with Richard Gutierrez, Solenn Heussaff, Jon Hall, Michelle Madrigal and Raymond Gutierrez. They’re promoting “Survivor Philippines Celebrity Showdown” in Cebu malls while we’re on our way to Talavera House of Prayer in Pardo, Cebu to handle the Discovery Weekend seminar for engaged couples. Richard personally thanked us for our positive reviews of “Survivor”. He’s obviously very happy as he just had triple victories and all his projects are doing well. His environmental docu “Wildlife for Sale” rated very high along with “Survivor” and he also has a hit film, “In Your Eyes”, that is now on its fourth week of showing in theatres.

In our case, we want to thank the Cebu couples who worked with us to make the weekend meaningful for all the couple participants: Dr. Renald Peter Ramiro of Cebu Doctors Hospital and wife Araceli, Mike & Joyce Fernan, Nhars & Ellen Jumonong, John & Nadine Gonzalez, Edwin & Tiffany San Nicolas, and Eric & Len Manalo.
