JUDY ANN SANTOS admits Sarah Geronimo confided to her who’s the guy who hurt her feelings but Juday won’t reveal his identity. “Sarah is quiet by nature,” she says. “Kundi mo kukulitin, she won’t talk. E, ako, maurirat, full of questions, sinasagot naman niya. She trusted me, alangan naman I will betray that trust now. Basta ang sabi ko kay Sarah, sa buhay, hindi mawawala yung mga taong mananakit sa kanya. That happened to me pero hinarap ko lang, nakipagtitigan ako. I believe in karma kasi mabigat ang balik nun. Sinaktan mo ko, bahala na si Lord sa’yo. Kaya nga bagay sa’min ang movie naming ‘Hating Kapatid’ kasi feeling ko, little sister ko talaga siya and I’m her protective Ate, na siyang roles namin sa story.”
She’s due to deliver her “panganay” in a couple of months. Does she expect Ryan Agoncillo to be with her at the delivery room? “Oo naman, dapat lang, aba, kaming dalawa ang gumawa nito, no? I’d really like to thank Viva and Direk Wenn Deramas kasi when we’re shooting ‘Hating Kapatid’, that opens today nationwide, they understood my situation at hindi nila ko pinahirapan. By 8 PM, pinauuwi na ako para hindi ako mapuyat sa set. Happy ako habang pregnant at kita naman ito sa movie.”
Just like their wedding where they didn’t get too many sponsors, they will also have only three pairs of godparents when their son gets baptized. “Ayaw naming gawing commercialized na parang fundraising. Sagrado sa’min ang pagnininong at ninang so we won’t choose them on the basis na magiging malaki ang regalo nila kundi kaya ba nila talaga maging second parents sa anak namin.”

WE WERE at the premiere of Hating Kapatid at Megamall last Monday upon the invitation of Shirley Pizarro and it was really jampacked with people. Juday and Sarah’s fans went screaming wildly when they finally appeared in the theatre at past 9 PM. This will be a test for Sarah Geronimo if her movie could still be a blockbuster even if she’s not paired with John Lloyd Cruz. She’s been named Box Office Queen twice and Lloydie was her leading man in both flicks. But Sarah’s fans will no doubt be thrilled as she’s given a good role as Cecilia, the younger sister who has bigger scenes than Juday as she is even featured in a solo musical production number. All her endorsements are also given prominent product placements all throughout the filom, from Belo Essentials and Jollibee to Magic Sing, Viva Video, Charmee and others. A lot of laughs were provided by Vice Ganda as the gay housemaid who, along with Deejay Durano as Juday’s cousin, have even bigger exposure than leading men Luis Manzano and JC De Vera. JC appears only at the start of the film, goes missing for a long stretch and reappears only much later.

GLAIZA DE Castro says “Diva” might end this month but it’s memory will stay forever in her heart. “Wala pa ko sa showbiz, iniidolo ko na si Ms. Regine Velasquez at never kong naisip na one day, magkokontrabida ko sa kanya na maglalaban kami ng showdown sa kantahan at aagawan ko pa siya ng boyfriend, si TJ Trinidad, who I now blackmail with the threat of exposing our sex video. I had a hard time na taray-tarayan siya at sampalin pa, but she herself encouraged me to do it convincingly but she qualified na huwag sobrahan kasi kailangan kaawaan din ang character ko as Tiffany kasi I’m motivated by my ambition to be a superstar. I really had a great experience working with her. This week, Regine and Mark Anthony Fernandez get close again to each other kahit nakatakda ng pakasal si Ms. Regine kay TJ.”
After Patrick Garcia, she’s now linked to Felix Roco whose twin brother, Dominic, is in turn linked to Glaiza’s best friend Maxene Magalona. Recently, they were on a foursome date watching a movie at Shangrila Mall. They also go out on gimmicks together. “Friends kaming lahat, wala naman sigurong masama dun. But we seldom see each other mula ng si Felix moved to ABS.”

DINA BONNEVIE revealed in “Paparazzi”: that she had a mild stroke so she rested from showbiz for a while. She also confessed that she went with son Oyo Sotto to make “pamanhikan” to Kristine Hermosa’s family in Canada three months ago. The wedding is set on January 2011 and after that, the couple will try living a normal non-showbiz life abroad. She also admitted Oyo and Kristine have already adopted a child. “Yes, nag-ampon sila,” she added.
And what can Diether Ocampo, Kristine’s ex-hubby she married in 2004 (but their marriage was declared null and void last year), say about her coming remarriage to Oyo? “Congratulations,” he says. “I pray maging maayos at maligaya ang marriage nila.”
Diet himself has a new GF, model Rima Ostwani. He just celebrated his birthday on July 19. He has finished an indie film, “Slow Fade” with Precious Quigaman, and is now in Regal’s “Mamarazzi” with Eugene Domingo and in Star Cinema’s “Sa’Yo Lamang” with Lorna Tolentino and Bea Alonzo.

His fans are very vocal about their admiration for him even in social networking sites like FB and Twitter. So how does he feel that he’s now a heartthrob? “Actually, I don’t feel it. Nagulat na lang ako, ang dami ko na palang fans. I’m not used to it so it’s overwhelming and I want to thank them all for their support. I’m really happy to be given the chance to perform and entertain them. Ako mismo, I never expected na pati acting papasukin ko. I thought singing lang, but now that I’m here, I’m trying my best to act well. I’d like to thank Barbie Forteza and Joshua Dionisio kasi very warm nila kong tinanggap sa show and they helped me a lot. But I’m still adjusting kasi I’m new in this career. I always pray that I do well in whatever I’m assigned to do.”
How does he feel being compared with Justin Bieber? “Okay lang. Sikat naman siya talaga and a good performer.”
What can he say about Maricel Soriano now playing the ill-fate Regina in “Pilyang Kerubin”? “We’re glad to have her as she’s a great actress. This week, she’ll disguise as a clown to see her estranged daughter but she gets shot when assassins tried to kill the man who adopted her child.”
