Tuesday, it's "Timbangan" with economist Winnie Monsod putting the promises of candidates and officials on a weighing scale against their actual track records. This is a joint project with Monsod's Movement for Good Government. Wednesday, it's "Dokumentado" hosted by Luchi herself, showing news sources captured ambush style by News5's young firebrand journalists with their mini-cameras. Thursday, "Ako Mismo" with Chris Tiu tells stories of heroism by ordinary Pinoys to inspire today's generation who are looking for inspiration in a time of chaos and confusion. Friday, "Lupet!" with Lourd de Veyra retelling the best and biggest budgeted documentaries on TV this time in Pilipino.
News5 also offers its own morning show, "Sapul!", a hardhitting, no-holds-barred, no sacred cows of news and commentary program that will bring down erring government officials to their knees, as hosted by Erwin Tulfo, Martin Andanar, Lour de Veyra and Uno editor and model Shawn Yao, 5:30 to 7 AM, Monday to Friday.
