TV 5 HAD a grand launch for their new show at World Trade Center last Thursday, using the tagline "Para Sa'Yo, Kapatid". So if GMA and ABS are Kapuso and Kapamilya, they'll be known as Kapatid. Dolphy, Joey de Leon and Vic Sotto had a wacky production number. Their Sunday night will feature Dolphy in "Pidol's Wonderland" with sons Epi and Vandolph Quizon, directed by another son, Eric Quizon. Vic will be seen with Daiana Meneses in "My Darling Aswang", a spin off of his recent hit flick, "Darling Kong Aswang". Vic will also be seen on Sundays in "Who Wants to be a Millionaire" while Joey will host his own game show, "House or Not", Tuesday nights. Other new shows at "Five Star Drama Presents"on Mondays that now features Maricel Soriano, to be followed Ruffa Gutierrezm who's also in "Paparazzi", Sundays at 2:30 PM with Cristy Fermin and Dolly Ann Carvajal.
Young actors JC De Vera ("Lokomoko U"), Oyo Sotto ("Midnight DJ"), and John Prats ("Moomoo and Me") also had their own production number, dubbes as Tatlong Prinsipe ng Primetime. Also there to perform were Lucy Torres (dubbed as Asia's Dance Goddess for her "Shall We Dance?"), Ryan Agoncillo ("Talentadong Pinoy"), John Estrada, Alex Gonzaga, Tuesday Vargas, and Mocha. Present at the affair were TV 5 big bosses Manny Pangilinan, Ray Espinosa, Bobby Barreiro, Dan de padua and head of creative and entertainment Perci Intalan.
