Empress Schuck the former child actress is now a woman

EMPRESS SCHUCK turned 17 on Feb. 19. The former child actress (best known as the dying girl in "Nine Mornings") is now a young woman and her birthday wish is granted as she'll be the next young actress to be launched by ABS-CBN in her own teleserye, a suspense-thriller. Her past shows include Super Inggo, All Abt Luv, and Underage. She has also done several films: Resiklo, Magkaibigan, Angels, Lastikman, Darling Kong Aswang, Hilot and Pasang Krus where she got good reviews. She did several Maalala Mo Kaya episodes, the most recent one being the Manny Villar Story. She is graduating from high school at Angelicum College this March. "I want to take up culinary arts as I want to put up my own restaurant," she says.

Two guys also celebrated their birthday. Fil-Aussie Chad Peralta of Pinoy Dream Academy turned 24 on Feb. 4 and AJ Perez of the Giggerboys turned 16 on Feb. 17. Chad is a singer-songwriter who has launched his own album that includes songs like "Promise", "Song for You" and 'Kasalanan". He spent his birthday in a park in Bataan with his family where they ate streetfoods like fishball and isaw. The next day, he went to market and cooked for his cousins. No wonder he looks overweight at Star Magic's birthday presscon. AJ is a high school junior at La Salle and an honor student. This teen heartthrob is a regular in "ASAP XV".
