Ana Capri's dad passed away due to Ondoy floods

AT THE "First Time" presscon, Ana Capri, who plays Barbie Forteza's mom, told us her dad passed away after being stressed out by the Ondoy floods. Her folks live in Ynfanta, Quezon, which was badly hit by the floods. "Hanggang waist kasi ang tubig inside our house kaya sobrang napagod siguro ang papa ko," she says.

She's glad to be playing Ian Veneracion's wife in "First Time" that clobbered the competition with 22.9% ratings on Monday and 21.6% on Tuesday. "Noong high school pa ko, picture niya ang nasa wallet ko kasi crush ko siya. Ngayon, katrabaho ko na. Pero di ko sinasabi sa kanya."


She's very mean to Barbie in the show. "May secret kasi ang family namin. You'll find out later kung bakit salbahe ako kay Barbie kahit only daughter namin siya. I've also just finished two new films, 'Palabigasan' with Gwen Garci and 'Standing Room Only' with Sheree, both megged by Joven Tan."
