PATRICIA JAVIER is all set to represent our country and compete in the beauty pageant, Noble Queen of the Universe, that will be held at the Manila Hotel Ballroom on Sunday, December 1, 6 PM. The delegates have arrived and the pre-pageant activities have started with Ms. Eren Noche, a banker, as the chairwoman of the pageant.

The delegates were introduced in a press presentation at the Rotary Club Bldg. in Roces Ave. In their program, the pageant’s organizers declare: “We believe that Titles & Crowns, Beauty & Grace can be for a great purpose and platform for Women's advocacies to raise funds and awareness to different charity works for great humanitarian reasons.

"Winners of pageants usually go on a year long parade, showing off their titles with even more confidence in doing charitable outreach programs. We have the collaborative supports of Zonta Metro Club, Greenhills, Soroptimist Club of Founder Manila, Rotary Club Roces and Rotary International, Innerwheel Club of Center Valle Verde.

“Our vision for Noble Queen of the Universe is to establish a compassionate society and to create opportunities for ladies to promote their noble culture to a global audience while celebrating their uniqueness, talent, beauty and great individual humanitarian advocacies. Proceeds will go to the education of poor children who are excelling in school but can not afford to continue primary, high school or college education, and other deserving recipients of our Charity Outreach Programs.”

Patricia Javier is supposed to represent our country in the Mrs. Universe Pageant to be held in China during the Christmas season, but she chose to join Noble Queen of the Universe instead.

“First of all, I don’t want to be away from my husband (Dr. Robert Walcher) and our two sons during the Christmas season,” she says. “Then, mas nagustuhan ko itong Noble Queen kasi it’s an advocacy pageant.

"It will help me and my husband promote our advocacies about health and wellness, and women empowerment. It’s connected with other civic organizations like the Rotary and Lions Club and Mayors Isko Moreno of Manila and Vico Sotto of Pasig are supporting us.

"Mayor Isko will deliver the opening remarks sa coronation night and meron naman kaming outreach medical mission, tree planting and feeding program with Mayor Vico. Tapos, lahat kaming candidates, they gave us a seminar on women empowerment. They’re giving away awards to empowered women celebrities like Gladys Reyes, Ara Mina and Pokwang.

"Nakakatuwa, I met na the other candidates from Sweden, America, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Russia, Korea, United Kingdom and others. They’re all very friendly. Go watch us sa Manila Hotel this Sunday night. Next year, the host country will be the USA.”

Good luck to Patricia and here’s hoping she will bring home the crown aa tehe first Noble Queen of the Universe!!!!
