Anne Curtis Falls In Love With Someone Who's Gay In 'Bakit Lahat Ng Guwapo, May Boyfriend' But Says She's Sure It Has Never Happened To Her In Real Life

ANNE CURTIS finally has a new movie after “The Gifted” that was shown two years ago. “May scripts namang binigay sa’kin ang movie before but di ko nagustuhan, unlike itong ‘Bakit Lahat ng Guwapo, May Boyfriend’ na tawa ako nang tawa as I was reading the script,” she says. “Tinanggap ko rin ito sa dahilang noon ko pa gustong makatrabaho si Dennis Trillo, na hindi mangyayari on TV kasi we belong to different networks. But now, finally, we get to work together sa movie and I enjoyed it. He’s very professional and a really good actor. Noong una, he’s so quiet I found him mysterious but eventually, as the shooting went on, he opened up at masaya rin pala siya, makuwento kapag relaxed na siya sa’yo.”

Both her co-stars, Dennis and Paolo Ballesteros, declare they were starstruck with her so they were “kabado” when they started shooting the movie. What can she say about this? “A talaga? Well, I didn’t feel it. There’s no need for them naman to be starstruck with me. Masaya nga kami lagi sa set. I’m so happy that in this movie, I made new friends at na-enjoy ko talaga ang company nila.”

Dennis agrees with this. “Yes, napakasayang katrabaho ni Anne. Laging good vibes siya, very positive ang dala niyang energy and she spreads it to her co-stars at sa mga tao sa paligid niya.”

In “Bakit Lahat ng Guwapo, May Boyfriend”, Anne plays Kylie, a girl who always falls in love with guys who turn out to be closet gays. Paolo is one of her ex-BF’s. Then she meets Dennis, the best friend of Paolo and it turns out Paolo is also in love with him. Has something like this happened to Anne in real life, falling for someone who’s gay?

“Hindi pa naman. But marami talagang guwapo ngayon na gay pala. Kaya nga nauso yung saying na ‘sayang naman ang lahi mo’ kasi ang guguwapo, tapos may boyfriend pala. Or they go both ways.” Isn’t she afraid that her boyfriend, Erwan Heussaff, may be one? “Ay, hindi po. Ang tagal na namin, I would have detected noon pa if he’s one. Lalaking-lalaki yun. Sure ako!”

All her friends like Georgina Wilson, Isabel Daza and Solenn Heussaff have gotten married. Isn’t she somehow envious? “Why should I be? Hindi naman porke nag-asawa na sila, maiinggit na rin ako. Marami pa akong gustong gawin sa buhay ko, so settling down can wait.”
