The Various ABS-CBN Units & Its Heads That Give You The Shows You Want To Watch At The Kapamilya Network


THERE ARE VARIOUS business units producing shows for ABS-CBN today. Each unit cooks up its own prospective projects then these are presented to management. Those which are picked for approval are then produced and subsequently shown on the air.

These groups are headed by different unit heads. First is the unit of Malou Santos, who also heads Star Cinema. Working with her is Inang Olive Lamasan and they’re the ones responsible for hits like, “Forevermore”, “Pangako Sa’Yo” and “Dolce Amore”.

Then there’s the group of Deo Endrinal called Dreamscape with Rondell Lindayag, which produced Coco Martin’s shows like “Juan de la Cruz” and “Ang Probinsiyano”, and the current Elmo-Janella starrer, “Born for You”.

The third group is that of Ruel Bayani with Gina Marissa Tagasa, which is producing the current afternoon soap, “Tubig at Langis”. Then there’s the group of Raymond Dizon that produced “All of Me”, the last show of JM de Guzman, and the Pinoy Big Brother shows.

Last is that of Ginny Monteagudo Ocampo, which did the big morning hit, “Be Careful with My Heart” , “Nasaan Ka nang Kailangan Kita” and the newest Kapamilya show “The Greatest Love” starring Sylvia Sanchez.
