New Actor James Robert From Cebu Agrees To Do Full Frontal Nudity As Aiko Melendez' Son Involved In A Sex Scandal In 'Balatkayo'

JAMES ROBERT has just finished his nursing course in his native Cebu when he was offered to act in his first movie, “Balatkayo”, that opens in theaters on October 11. “It’s a good role at sabi ko, sige, subukan ko nga,” he says. “I play the son of Aiko Melendez and Polo Ravales na naiwan sa Manila while they are both working as OFW’s. My mom is in Singapore and my dad naman is in Dubai. Dahil walang nagga-guide sa akin, naligaw ako ng landas. Na-involved ako sa isang sex scandal.”

We heard he displays full frontal nudity in that scene. How was he convinced to do it? “Our director, Neal Buboy Tan, explained to me na kailangan talaga yun sa eksena, so I did it. May magandang aral namang itinuturo ang movie dahil sa ginawa kong ito, to both parents and their children.”

Has he seen the movie and his provocative scene? “Not yet. Sa premiere night na lang siguro. I have no regrets kasi hindi naman ito basta sex movie kundi may magandang mensaheng nangyayari talaga sa totoong buhay.”
