Michelle Madrigal Goes Topless In 'Bacao', A Film That Harks Best To The Tittilating Films Of Seiko In The 90's

MICHELLE MADRIGAL wasn’t joking when she told us “Bacao” is her sexiest movie to date. Her bed scenes (which are so many we lost count) with Arnold Reyes as her husband are really daring. She shamelessly bared her top and her boobies are truly impressive.

The movie itself reminded us of the tittilating films that Seiko Films used to do. Most of the characters are so horny. Leo Martinez as the albularyo turns out to be a sex maniac who drugs Michelle and rapes her. Alvin Anson, the neighbour whose wife, Marife Necesito, is Michelle’s best friend, is always asking his wife to have sex. When she refuses, he beats her up. The climax of the movie, when he tries to rape Michelle and Arnold sees him, leads to a tragic confrontation.

And here’s more, Arnold’s mom, Irma Adlawan is a randy hot matrona who’s having an affair with Archie Adamos because her husband, Menggie Cobarrubias, can no longer satisfy her. It will be recalled that in “The Janitor”, she was a stroke victim and vegetable that continues to be violated by her husband Dante Rivero. Now, she’s the more aggressive partner in bed.

If this were shown in the 90s, no doubt it would be a blockbuster because Michelle looks so fresh, beautiful and alluring in the lead role. But as we all know, sexy flicks have lost their attraction even to randy local viewers because it’s now so easy to watch uncut Triple X sex movies on DVD and on the internet. Even European movies complete with scenes of unabashed couplings like “Nine Songs”, “Intimacy” and “Nymphomaniac” can be easily obtained in pirated DVD’s at a very cheap price.

Still and all, we hope “Bacao” will be seen by local viewers as Michelle is not only sexy but also a good actress. She shines even in the soaps she did that we’re really wondering why she was never launched in a lead role. In “Bacao”, she plays Mayet, the most beautiful woman in the corn farming community where she lives. The film opens with her being married to Abel (Arnold) in very simple wedding rites in their village chapel. What follows is a series of bedscenes involving the young couple. They’ll do some chores at home or in the corn fields, then it’s time to do more lovemaking at home.

The harvest is bountiful but, at home, Mayet feels so sad as she won’t get pregnant even after six years. Whereas their neighbour, Marife Necesito, is getting pregnant every year. She consults an albularyo, Mang Indo (Leo Martinez), who orders her to obey everything he tells her if she really wants to get pregnant. This reminds us of the Seiko movie, “Huwag Kang Kikibo, Diyos ang Humihipo”, where Raymond Bagatsing is a cult leader who beds his women followers.

Mang Indo drugs Mayet to violate her and when Marife’s husband (Alvin Anson), sees her walking in a dizzy stupor on the street, he also tries to molest her. As may be expected, the whole thing ends tragically for some characters, but Mayet is shown ironically finally getting pregnant after the tragedy.

Like what we’ve said, Michelle is good, and she’s adequately supported by the whole cast, from Arnold as her husband, Marife as the battered wife, Irma as the sex-starved hot mama and Leo and Alvin as the lecherous men who are lustfully pining for Michelle.

Technical values are generally above average, particularly the cinematography that truly captures the rustic beauty of the cornfields where the film was shot on location.
