MAX COLLINS' BABY BOY IS TURNING ONE MONTH OLD SOON, SHE SHARES HOW IS IT TO BE A MOMMY

MAX COLLINS & HER BABY BOY SKYE

MAX COLLINS is one of the new mommies in local showbiz. The list of first time moms includes Anne Cutis, Solenn Heussaff and Sofia Andres.

The stork was really busy lately as other actresses also delivered their second or third babies, like Camille Prats, Iya Villania, Isabel Oli, Bangs Garcia.

Also pregnant now are Sheena Halili, Iwa Moto and Charee Pineda.

On Thursday, August 6, Max and Pancho Magno’s baby boy named Skye will be one month old. Delivered at their own home through water birthing,

Max is breastfeeding their son and finds the whole experience of being a new mom a fulfilling but challenging experience.

“But as a whole, no complaints,” she says. “It’s been very satisfying for us ni Pancho even if we are sometime sleep deprived. Eventually, magiging regular na rin naman ang pagtulog ng baby namin.

"Right now, I just make sure I am careful with what I take and eat kasi makukuha rin niya through my milk which, I’m glad, is marami kaya wala akong problema in feeding him.

"So binawasan ko na ang pag-inom ng kape na favorite drink ko before. I just take a lot malunggay soup para mas maging healthy siya, kaming dalawa.”

Does she miss acting?

“At this point, hindi pa masyado kasi very busy pa ako sa baby namin. At saka, wala rin namang nagte-taping ng bagong shows dahil sa lockdown, so okay lang so I can bond more with our son.

"Si Pancho nga, may bagong show na sinimulan, ‘First Yaya’, with Gabby Concepcion and Marian Rivera, pero nahinto ang taping dahil sa worldwide health crisis brought about by the virus at hindi pa alam kung kailan uli magre-resume.”

Her last TV series was the afternoon drama, “Bihag”, where she played the role of the young mom of a kidnapped boy. It rated well and she got positive feedback for her performance.

“I was very happy with that soap. Sana mabigyan uli ako ng ganung kagandang role. Kung kailan mangyayari yun depends kung kailan matatapos ang virus crisis na pinagdaraanan natin ngayon so let’s all pray for it to end soon.”
