RICKY DAVAO IS THE FEATURED SINGER AT THE PINOY PLAYLIST MUSICAL FESTIVAL THIS SUNDAY AT THE BGC ARTS CENTER

RICKY DAVAO has just finished directing “Dahil sa Pag-ibig” and now has time to focus on his singing and acting career. He is the featured singer on Sunday, October 13, 9 PM, at the Pinoy Playlist Music Festival 2019 that celebrates OPM (Original Pilipino Music) at the BGC Arts Center in Taguig.

The Pinoy Playlist Music Festival is the brainchild of singer-songwriter and producer Moy Ortiz. His idea strongly resonated with the advocacy of talent manager and writer Noel Ferrer and of National Artist for Music Ryan Cayabyab.

Ricky Davao will be singing songs in Pilipino, two of them written by Ryan Cayabyab himself, and also Salin Awit or Tagalog adaptations of very popular English songs.

You can get your tickets at the BGC Arts Center box office or online at ticketworld.com.ph, ranging from P400 for students to P800 for regular tickets for a one-day show and P1,500 for students and P3,000 for regular tickets for six-day shows.

The festival started last year with over 100 artists performing. More artists are expected to join this year. The Pinoy Playlist Music Festival aims to elevate the public’s consciousness that homegrown music goes beyond being a form of entertainment, but is a living tradition—the binding “glue” that forms, strengthens, and moves the Filipino community through the magic of song and music.
