KYLINE ALCANTARA FEELS SAD AS 'INAGAW NA BITUIN' ENDS ON MAY 17 BUT HAPPY TO PERFORM TO OUR KABABAYANS IN NEW YORK THIS WEEKEND

INAGA
KYLINE ALCANTARA feels sad that her first big teleserye, “Inagaw na Bituin”, is ending soon on May 17, to be replaced by “Dahil sa Pag-ibig” starring Sanya Lopez and Winwyn Marquez. “I will miss my character, Elsa-Anna, and all the people I’ve worked with in the show,” she says. “We started in February and we had a good run of more than one season.

"I enjoyed my role that required me to act and also sing. Very challenging, especially the confrontation scenes, but also very fulfilling. As the show concludes, don’t miss watching the final episodes kasi marami pang exciting na mga pasabog ang magaganap.”

Kyline wants to thank the senior stars she got to work with in the show, notably Sunshine Dizon as her biological mom, Angelu de Leon as her foster mom who raised after she was kidnapped, and Angelika de la Cruz as the main antagonist who made her life miserable. “I learned a lot from them so I want to thank them for all their help during the run of ‘Inagaw na Bituin’.”

Now that her show will be over soon, Kyline will concentrate on her launching movie, “Black Lipstick”, where she co-stars with Snooky Serna, Kate Valdez, Manolo Pedroza, James Teng and Migo Adecer, directed by Julius Alfonso.

She is also part of the Kapuso group who’ll perform at the “Studio 7 Musikalye” show at the Kings Theatre in Brooklyn New York this weekend in time for Mother’s Day, along with Alden Richards, Christian Bautista, Julie Anne San Jose, Rayver Cruz, Golden Canedo and Betong Sumaya. This is her first time to perform in New York so Kyline is understandably nervous but she’s confident she’ll do fine so as not to disappoint our kababayans abroad.
