JERIC GONZALES GIVES A PERSUASIVE PERFORMANCE AS A RECOVERING DRUG ADDICT IN THIS SUNDAY'S 'BAD SAM' EPISODE OF 'STORIES FOR THE SOUL', HOSTED BY MANNY PACQUIAO

PROTEGE winner JERIC GONZALES got very positive reviews for his portrayal of a male sex slave in the Middle East in a recent episode of "Magpakailanman" Now, Jeric will surely gain more raves for his convincing portrayal of a recovering drug addict in this Sunday's episode of "Stories for the Soul"

GMA Network’s inspirational anthology, "Stories for the Soul", features the heart-tugging story of a reformed man whose complicated past continues to haunt his life and besmirch his reputation. The episode entitled “Bad Sam” is a modern take on the well-known “Parable of the Good Samaritan” from the greatest book known to man, the Holy Bible.

It tells the story of Sam played by Jeric, a recovering drug addict who returns to his community after receiving treatment in a rehabilitation center. Amidst his efforts to change and start anew, Sam is still subjected to public scrutiny and prejudices.

Sam gets the chance of a lifetime when a returning OFW is held up and stabbed by unidentified robbers. Will this incident finally absolve Sam of his tainted reputation or will the self-righteous people in his community hold him accountable once again?

Co-starring with Jeric in this dramatic episode are Rita Daniela as Ellen, Phytos Ramirez as Daniel, Tom Olivar as Kap. Roger and Lilet as Claring.

Hosted by Sen. Manny Pacquiao, witness Sam’s moving struggle as a recovering drug addict in "Stories for the Soul" this May 26, after "Dear Uge", on GMA 7.
