“Simple. Bakante ako, e,” she says. “E, dumating itong offer ng GMA and I’m a free lance actress, so tinanggap ko. Hindi ko naman puedeng tanggihan yung role ko kasi back to contravida ako rito at matagal ko na ring nami-miss magcontravida. My last show with GMA was ‘Paano Ba ang Mangarap’, ten years ago pa, so nami-miss ko na ring mag-work dito. After that, napunta ako sa TV5 and I did many soaps there like ‘Babaeng Hampaslupa’ and ‘Enchanted Garden’, then napunta nga ako sa ABS and now, balik ako sa GMA where I started in ‘That’s Entertainment’. Dito sa ‘Kapag Nahati ang Puso’, sure akong kaiinisan ako ng viewers sa sobrang pang-aapi kay Bea Binene mula pa sa pagkabata niya.”
Bing has celebrated her 27th anniversary with husband Janno Gibbs last January. Yes, they’ve gone through a lot of trials and ups and downs, but they’re still happily together, along with their two daughters who now have careers of their own. The eldest, Alyssa Gibbs, who has a degree in psychology and is nicknamed Chi, is now officially engaged to her BF, Anton Cruz. The younger one is Gabrielle or Gaby, a graphic designer and makeup artist.
