“Parang real talaga kasi magaling na aktres si Kris, e,” he laughs. “But as much as possible, we try to really make it magmukhang totoo, but it’s actually just all acting. Nakakataka lang kasi ang daming violence at patayang pinapakita sa TV, pero okay lang. E, kami, what we show is love. So why hide love and show all the killings? It’s weird, di ba? Also, kami ni Kris, we just collaborate to follow what our director orders us to do. Sa workshop pa lang, alam na naming in playing our roles as Nimfa and Homer, we’ll be doing love scenes so we’re conditioned na that we’ll have to do such scenes.”
Doesn’t he get confused with Kris’ dual roles as Nimfa and Rosette? “I’ll admit na kung minsan, nalilito ako kung sino sa dalawang Kris ang kaeksena ko. So bago pa mag-take, I make sure kung si Rosette ba o si Nimfa ang kasama ko sa scene. Kay Nimfa kasi, mas malambing ako. Si Rosette, mas mataray, so nakakatakot siya.”
It’s said that “Impostora” is so successful it’s now extended until January 2018. “I learned about it from the fans of Kris, yung Kris Bernal Warriors sa Instagram. Akala ko, hanggang December lang kami. E, we’re extended beyond Christmas pala so we all feel grateful. Good news yan kaya magiging masaya ang Christmas holidays namin. We all love working and we’ve all learned to love doing ‘Impostora’, so magandang Christmas gift yan for all of us at magiging maganda rin ang pasok ng New Year 2018 for all of us.”
