Lovi Poe Does A Body Switch Romantic Comedy With Vhong Navarro In Regal's 'Woke Up Like This'

LOVI POE’S movie with Regal Entertainment last year, “The Escort’, was a big hit, so it’s not surprising that Mother Lily Monteverde got her again to do a movie for them this year.

“Ang ganda ng concept ng bagong project so I agreed to do it right away,” she says. “Kung sexy drama ang ‘The Escort’ with Derek Ramsay, my new movie naman with Vhong Navarro is a rollicking romantic comedy. This is my second movie with Vhong kasi I was paired with him before in an episode of ‘Shake Rattle & Roll’ about five years ago.”

The title of their new project is “Woke Up Like This”. In the story, Lovi is a sexy model while Vhong is an ace basketball player. By some twist of fate, they have a body switch, with Lovi becoming Vhong and vice versa.

“Ang daming eksenang sobrang nakakatawa, lalo na nang matuklasan namin sa loob ng bathroom na iba na ang sex organs namin at nagkapalit na pala kami,” adds Lovi giggling.

The movie is the first big break on the big screen of Joel Ferrer, who is currently directing the digital series of Jasmine Curtis Smith, “Forever Sucks”, on D5Studio.
