“It’s an honor kasi lahat naman ng mga batang aktor, nangangarap na makatrabaho ang isang Ate Guy kahit minsan lang,” he says. “I’m one of those actors who dream of working with her and when I learned this is a movie with her in the cast, ni hindi ko na binasa ang script when they offered the project to me at tinanggap ko na agad ito. Yes, kaagad, hindi na pinag-isipan pa at all. And it paid off kasi naging napakagandang experience for me working with her.”
How so? “As an actress, you’ll admire her for having a switch button. Before the take, kuwentuhan, tawanan nang tawanan. But once marinig namin yung ready, action! She changes completely. Biglang she becomes her character. Mae-enjoy mo talaga working with her as she’s also very polite, very helpful in sharing her talent. I will never forget being able to work with her kasi nagkaroon din kami ng Nanay sa set. Hindi siya Superstar but a mom to all of us ng co-stars kong sina Jason Abalos, Ronwaldo Martin, RJ Agustin, Kiko Matos and the rest of the cast.”
