Rachelle Anne Go Should Scout Around For Another Project For Her, Yeng Constantino & Sarah Geronimo As 'Do Re Mi' Is So Identified With Its Original Actresses

WE’RE HAPPY for Rachelle Anne Go as she is sure to join the cast of “Miss Saigon” when it opens in Broadway. She’ll be reprising her role of the bar girl Gigi who sings “The Movie in My Mind”, after she also did Fantine in “Les Miserables” at London’s West End where sang “I Dreamed a Dream”.

Earlier, Rachelle Anne posted her photo with good friends Sarah Geronimo and Yeng Constantino and asked if their fans would want them to do a remake of “Do Re Mi” shown 20 years ago starring Regine Velasquez, Donna Cruz and Mikee Cojuangco. Sarah is said to be partial to the idea of doing a movie with them. But now that Rachelle Anne is going to Broadway to do “Miss Saigon” for about a year, then this film proposal we have to wait.

Honestly, though, we think they should just look for another project because “Do Re Mi” is identified strictly with Donna, Regine and Mikee, whose first two letters in their respective names stood for the film’s title. No one among Rachelle Anne, Sarah or Yeng have Do Re Mi in their names, so they better just scout around for a different project and do something na hindi nakatatak talaga sa mga pangalan ng unang gumawa nito.
