He’s back with Bea Binene as his leading lady in “Tsuper Hero”, a comedy that will replace “Conan The Beautician” every Sunday morning. “I will play a jeepney driver at barker namang nagtatawag ng pasahero si Bea,” he adds. “Bale reunion namin ito ni Bea after we did the hit afternoon soap, ‘Hanggang Makita Kang Muli’, that ended last July. Makakasama namin dito sa bagong show sina Tito Gabby Concepcion at Tita Alma Moreno. Sabi ni Tita Alma noong story con namin, ito raw ang comeback niya in doing a TV series kasi before this, nag-guest lang siya in an episode of ‘Magpakailanman’ and in ‘Dear Uge’. Kasama rin namin dito sina Betong Sumaya, Miggs Cuaderno, Analyn Barro, Jemwell Ventinilla, Philip Lazaro at Valentin, under the direction of L.A. Madridejos who did ‘Juan Happy Love Story’.”
About the “Oh Boy!” concert, Derrick says the audience will be in for an entertaining night of song and music, plus a naughty number where he and his co-stars will dare show some skin. “Sizzling hot ito so don’t miss it! Ngayon lang namin ito gagawin on stage at baka hindi na maulit!” he naughtily warns.
