Ritz Azul Optimistic That She'll Achieve Stardom On ABS-CBN, Just Like Fellow Transfereed Arci Munoz And Alex Gonzaga

RITZ AZUL was given starring roles by TV5 in such big projects as “Misibis Bay” and “Kidlat” opposite Derek Ramsay, but her quest for stardom didn’t really take off. She’s optimistic that ABS-CBN will be more successful in building her up as a big star now that she is a Kapamilya. After all, ABS succeeded with Alex Gonzaga and Arci Munoz who are both also transferees from TV5 like her.

“Dream come true for me na maging Kapamilya,” says Ritz. “Ang mga artista nila, ang gaganda, ang gagaling umarte, ang daming endorsements, so nangarap ako and said, ano kaya, mapasama ako sa kanila some day? Tapos, heto nga, pumirma na ko ng kontrata as a Kapamilya. But I will forever be grateful sa TV5 for giving my first break sa showbiz. Ang dami ko ring natutuhan sa kanila.”

For her first assignment, she joins Coco Martin’s “Ang Probinsyano”. “Another dream come true ito for me, ang makatrabaho ang isang Coco Martin. Hopefully, later, I’ll be given the chance to work with other Kapamilya actors like John Lloyd Cruz, Paulo Avelino and Piolo Pascual. I’m really confident na sa ABS, mas may direction ang career ko. Gusto nila talaga akong gawing dramatic actress and I promise to do my best para hindi ako mapahiya sa pagtitiwala nila sa akin.”

Her next dream is to be given her own movie, just like Arci whose star really shone bright with the box office hit that was “Always Be My Maybe” with Gerald Anderson.
