Louise De Los Reyes On The Success Of Former Leading Men Alden Richards And Paulo Avelino, And How She Feels About New Leading Man Juancho Trivino

LOUISE DE LOS REYES is happy to be back playing a lead role in “Magkaibang Mundo” that starts airing on May 23. She admits she felt sad after she was not given a follow up lead role after “Kambal Sirena” two years ago. Instead, she just played a supporting role as the sister of Jennylyn Mercado in “My Faithful Husband”. “Babalik na sana ako sa school to take up law but dumating naman itong ‘Magkaibang Mundo’, so I realized na mas gusto ko pa rin talaga ang mag-artista,” she says at the presscon of “Magkaibang Mundo”.

We notice she has lost a lot of weight and is sexier now. “I work out everyday. At sa diet din. I now measure 34-24-36. I now also live independently. I have my own condo in The Fort while my parents live in a townhouse in Quezon City. It’s a learning experience managing your own household. What’s her role in “Magkaibang Mundo”? “I play the daughter of Gabby Eigenmann and Assunta de Rossi. Is it true she and ex-BF Enzo Pineda are still not on speaking terms? “But we are. Magkasama kami sa movie na ‘Hermano Puli’ and we occupy the same tent. Tinatanong pa niya ako, O, kumain ka na?”
When is the movie going to be shown? “Baka isali raw ni Direk Gil Portes sa next Metro-Manila Filmfest.”
What does she think of Juancho Trivino as her new leading man in “Magkaibang Mundo”? “He’s okay. Matangkad, pogi, pambida talaga. Dati na kaming magkakilala dahil nagkakasama kami sa Sunday noontime shows noon ng GMA-7. Siya pa nga ang nagsabi sa’kin na magigiging magkapareha kami. Nauna niyang nalaman. We’re both praying magustuhan sana ng viewers ang chemistry namin as a new love team.”
