Jennylyn Mercado's Movie With John Lloyd Cruz Postpone, Denies She's Preggy With Dennis Trillo's Child

JENNYLYN MERCADO denies the raging rumor that she’s pregnant with Dennis Trillo as the father. Some writers posted it as a blind item but it’s all very identifiable. This after she was confined in a hospital, which made some quarters to quickly jump into the conclusion that she’ll have a date with the stork.

The confinement at the hospital caused further delay in the shooting of her movie with John Lloyd Cruz, “Just the Three of Us”, which is supposed to open in theaters tomorrow to topple “Captain America: Civil War” at the box office but it won’t happen anymore since its playdate has been officially postponed to May 4. We heard they finally wrapped up the shooting last Sunday after doing the last few scenes at the airport in Clark, Angeles, but they still have to do post-production work at hindi raw aabot talaga for Wednesday.

As for the rumors about her, Jennylyn quickly posted photos of herself doing strenuous boxing to prove she’s not preggers. Mind you, she and Dennis have yet to officially admit that they’re on and back in each other’s arms, but now comes the report that she’s already infanticipating. Her main concern should be the box office take of her movie with John Lloyd, which will be shown without much publicity.

Actually, it’s John Lloyd who badly needs a hit after his last two so-called prestige movies didn’t fare so well at the box office, “Honor They Father” and “Hele sa Hiwagang Hapis”. As they say, good (or is it bad) luck comes in three’s. The counter move to that is that Jen is the leading lady and she seems to be a good luck charm after winning two Metro filmfest best actress awards in a row for “English Only, Please” and “Walang Forever”.

Meantime, Jen is being bashed for being touted as the leading lady of Alden Richards in the local version of the Koreanovela “My Love from the Star”. Of course, AlDub fans don’t like the idea of being snatched away from Maine Mendoza.

But all this talk is actually much ado about nothing. Alden is busy shooting his first solo movie with Maine that will be shot partly on location in Italy and has a July playdate. And as a very reliable big wig told us, Alden will not be allowed to do any new TV series while his Kalyeserye in “Eat Bulaga” is still going on. Alden knows for sure where his current superstar status started, so we’re certain he’ll have a deep sense of utang na loob and the Kalyeserye will remain to be his top priority.
