    Congratulations To Himig Handog 2016 Winners Led By Singer-Songwriter Davey Langit's Son, 'Dalawang Letra'

    HIMIG HANDOG Love Songs 2016 writing contest had its finals at KIA Theatre last Sunday and winning the best song-grand prize is Davey Langit’s “Dalawang Letra”, as interpreted by Itchyworms. It won P1 million cash. Second prize went to perennial winner Jungee Marcelo (who has two entries no less for this year) for his song “Monumento” interpreted by Kyla and Kris Lawrence.

    Third prize went to “Laban Pa” David Dimaguila, sung by KZ Tandingan and Jay-R. Fourth prize was “Tama Lang” by Agatha and Melvin Morallos, sung by Jolina Magdangal. Fifth prize was “Parang Tayo Pero Hindi” by Marlon Barnuevo sung by Angeline Quinto and Michael Pangilinan. “O Pag-ibig” by Lani Rabe and Jack Rufo sung by Bailey May and Ylona Garcia won four special awards: Best Music Video, Onemusic favorite interpreter award, MOR Choice Award and TFC Global Choice Award. “Nyebe” by Aries Sales sang by Kaye Cal won the Star Music Listeners Choice Award.
