He married Tito Molina, who’s not the dad of her kids, and then Robbie Tan of Seiko Films discovered her and launched her to TF (titillating films) stardom. Her marriage eventually crumbled. She became a TV host in GMA’s “Startalk” then had a falling out with co-host Lolit Solis when Lolit revealed that her daughter Grace was pregnant at 16 then, with Bong Revilla’s son, Jolo, as the dad. Osang’s career took a nosedive. She did supporting roles on TV5 and in indie films, but her career never recovered its lost glory.
Now, she tells Boy Abunda that her lesbian lover inspires her. “Mas inspirado ako ngayon. I found my match. Alam mo naman kung paano ako magpalit ng lalaki noon. Parang nagpapalit lang ako ng damit. Parang lahat is an experiment pero wala namang akong natutuhan. Parang may something missing. Ngayon, ayun, nakita ko na yung something missing.”
Osang said she met her lesbian lover again 27 years later. And she’s now ready to have a same sex marriage with her. “Magpapakasal ako. Christian yung family, pero wala kahit isa sa kanilang nag-judge sa akin. Lahat ng mali ko sa buhay, naitama ko. Kapag pala itinatama mo yung buhay mo, lahat ng mga bisyong di mo gusto, kusang mawawala, with the help of the Lord.”
Okay, let’s not judge her. She now has several grandchildren and let’s trust her that she has learned her lessons. Let’s just pray that it’s true she has finally seen the light.
