Kylie Padilla Glad To Be Back On Primetime In 'Toda One I Love'

KYLIE PADILLA looks good as new at the presscon of her comeback soap, “TODA One I Love”. “Hindi ka mukhang nanganak at hindi ka rin mukhang isa nang wife and mother,” one writer tells her. “Mukhang dalaga pa rin ang dating mo.”

“Salamat po,” she says. “And I’m so grateful to GMA-7 for giving me the chance to star again in my own teleserye. Pero marami na po talagang nangyaring pagbabago sa buhay ko. As a wife and mother, a lot of new things and challenges are going on in my life. There has been a lot of growth. Sa trabaho, artista ako. Pero pag-uwi ng bahay, switch ako agad to being a wife and mom.”

She’s also thankful to the fans of her love team with Ruru Madrid. “Kasi hindi nila talaga iniwanan yung KyRu love team namin at nag-request pa rin sila sa GMA na pagsamahin kami uli. At ang GMA naman, ever since, very understanding sa naging sitwasyon ko. And now, talagang pinaganda nila ang show na ito kaya I’m inspired to always give my best in every episode. What’s nice about this is hindi siya heavy dramang iyak ka nang iyak, but a romcom na very light, fun at masayang panoorin. Struggle din for me kasi nga it’s my first comedy. Also, may pagka-action ito kasi babaeng tricyle driver ako rito na palaban, so I have some fight scenes with some goons who try to bully me.”

Her leading man, Ruru Madrid, has become hunkier since they were last together in “Encantadia” and in “The Cure”. “Opo nga,” she says. “Obviously, panay ang workout niya. Gayundin yung ka-love triangle niya sa akin, si David Licauco. Panay nga ang hubaran nila rito, displaying their abs and naked torso.”

So who’s sexier: Ruru, David or her husband? “SIempre po, doon pa rin ako sa asawa ko. Mas okay naman talaga ang asawa ko, e. But when I’m playing my character in ‘TODA’, si Gelay, siempre, maka-Ruru ako kasi siya ang crush ko rito.”
“TODA One I Love” starts airing this Monday right after “Onanay” on GMA Telebabad.
